Please help us in congratulating Honey Lee on the acceptance of the Professional School Counselor position at Blackburn Elementary School. Blackburn is located in Newton, North Carolina and is a part of the Catawba County School System. It is a K-6 school, so Honey will be advocating for and working with an array of children at all different ages and stages of development.
From Honey: "I finished my first week as an "official" school counselor and I just want to say, "I'm not dead, yet." I can do it! I'm so excited and thrilled to get this opportunity, and it's so amazing how things worked out and this job fell right into place. It's been such a rollercoaster ride with so many ups & downs and twists & turns over the past two years. When I think about all of the things that have happened in such a short period of time, I get teary. They are definitely tears of joy. I am so lucky and blessed to have had this opportunity, so thank you to the PSC faculty for teaching me and being patient with me, my cohort for supporting me and encouraging me, and the all of HPC fambam for the unforgettable experiences!!! Woot woot! The finish line is right at my finger tips and I will be nothing but ecstatic when I walk across that stage."
